 2 Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
In order for GOD to heal the land, there are 7 things that must be done: #1 - GOD is requesting for "HIS People". We can not depend on those who do not have a relationship with GOD to approach HIM concerning this matter. GOD wants "HIS People" to represent the land. #2 - Are you called by HIS name? The greatest name is JESUS Christ! The called out ones whom GOD has chosen must come forth. #3 - We must humble ourselves! Arrogance and self-righteousness will not work. We must become abased and allow GOD and HIS Glory to rise. No more lifting up ourselves in this season. Our pride and disposition must decrease and GOD must increase. #4 - Prayer is essential. It is our communication with GOD that determines our success. Remember that prayer is a dialogue and not a monologue. What is GOD saying to you? Allow HIM to speak into your spirit, mind, and heart about what HE wants from you. #5 - Seek HIS face and not just HIS hand! Build a relationship with who HE is and not just with what HE can do! #6 - Turn from our wicked ways! It is imperative that we repent from our sins and wicked ways. We must judge ourselves in order for GOD to provide mercy and grace into the world. We, "HIS People" need grace & mercy too. If we continue in wickedness than GOD will not hear us. We must REPENT! If GOD will hear us than intercession and reconciliation is possible. #7 - GOD hearing and forgiving us must happen first before HE will heal the land. As we pray, let us seek to be heard and not just be religious. Remember that GOD is merciful and gracious to "HIS People"!
